Clea secretly observed Doctor Strange in the Dark World and admired his courage in fighting the demon Dormammu, so Clea helped Doctor Strange escape from the predicament. Later, Dormammu used Baron Mordo to fight Doctor Strange, but was destroyed by Clea again. So Dormammu regarded Clea as a traitor and exiled her. Doctor Strange defeated Dormammu together with Eternity and rescued Clea and other residents of the Dark World who were exiled by Dormammu.
